Common questions

How do I check into a show?

Find the show in Discover or scan the show's QR code from the Check In tab. On the show page, tap I'm here — check in. Your "room" — everyone else who also checked in — populates instantly, and the show becomes part of your scene history in Plaza.

What is "the room"?

Anyone who's at the same show as you (status: here) is part of your room for that night. No friend request needed. Plaza shows you everyone you've ever crossed paths with, and counts how many times.

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password. We'll email you a one-time sign-in code. Once you're in, head to Settings to set a new password.

How do I report a user or content?

Every photo, post, story, comment, and DM has a Report option. On profiles, tap the ··· menu → Report. On photos/posts/stories, tap the ··· in the header. On comments and room posts, tap Report in the action row. On DMs, long-press the message.

An admin reviews reports within 24 hours. If a report is actioned, the content is removed and (when warranted) the account is suspended.

How do I block someone?

Tap their profile → the ··· menu → Block. Blocking hides their content from you and prevents them from messaging or interacting with yours. You can unblock from Settings → Blocked accounts.

How do I delete my account?

Email support@osoplaza.com from your account email and we will permanently delete your account and all associated content within 30 days. We do not charge for deletion and you don't need to provide a reason.

I'm getting too many notifications.

Go to Settings → Notifications. Every notification type has its own toggle. You can also fully disable Oso Plaza notifications in iOS Settings → Notifications → Oso Plaza.

The show I want isn't in Discover.

Most ticketed shows are pulled in automatically. For house shows, open mics, or anything not on a major ticketing platform, tap the Check In tab → Create a show to add it yourself. User-created shows go through a quick review before they appear publicly.

How does the demo / Apple Reviewer account work?

We provide a pre-populated demo account to Apple's App Review team so they can test the app without setting up from scratch. That account's content is hidden from regular users — you won't see "Mitski at the Greek" or fake check-ins in your Discover.

Is Oso Plaza free?

Yes — the core app is free. We don't have ads. If you tap Get tickets on a show, we may earn an affiliate commission from the ticketing partner, but the price you pay is identical to going direct.

Status & outages

If the app is misbehaving for everyone, we'll post an update at support@osoplaza.com. For one-off issues — slow loading, can't sign in, can't post — first try force-quitting the app, then reinstalling. If that doesn't help, email us with a screenshot and what you were doing.
